Delivery & Returns

We carry huge stocks of virtually all the products shown on-line and envisage to deliver orders typically within 2-3 working days (UK mainland). We can also deliver to most parts of Europe and N. America - please email for a quote.


Types of delivery and the dispatch times

  • Same-day despatch applies to orders placed before 3pm Monday - Friday. Orders received after 3pm are processed the next working day. 
  • Normal delivery for smaller items is sent via Royal Mail and will arrive within 2 – 3 working days.
  • Delivery of stereos, speakers (larger items) is by DPD courier and will typically arrive within 2 working days.
  • Special delivery services - next working day delivery and Weekend delivery can be shipped via DPD Next Day Couriers (subject to availability of products) - please email for a quote.


What happens if there is no-one at home upon delivery?

  • Our delivery service requires you to be at home or make arrangements to receive delivery. If you are not at home, the courier will leave a card stating when they called and who you need to contact to arrange another delivery - Please contact the number on the card to arrange a second delivery.


Where is my order?

  • Most of our products are dispatched on the day of the order from our own warehouse (Mon-Fri, excludes weekends and bank holidays). A tracking number can be provided so you can trace the progress of your order.


Delivery Options for UK Mainland

  • Depending on the weight and value of your order, we will offer you Postal or Courier Delivery options for the most suitable delivery method.
  • Normal & Express Next Day delivery is provided by DPD Courier service
  • Smaller and low value items are sent via Royal Mail First Class (2 -3 working days)


Next day delivery will cost?

  • Monday to Thursday (excluding Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays) - Next Working Day Delivery £8.99 - Please call us on 0208 561 3427 to expedite your order once it has been placed.
  • Saturday Next Day Delivery £25
  • Orders placed over weekend with next working day delivery will be processed on Monday for delivery Tuesday.


What are your standard delivery charges?

  • Currently, we are offering a flat rate fee of £4.99 for any size or value of order, to UK mainland addresses.
  • Please note orders to IOM, IOW, N. Ireland, Ireland, Jersey, Guernsey, Scottish Highlands will incur additional costs, typically an additional £10.00 (unless they are small, low value items and can be shipped using Royal Mail). If your order falls into any of these postcodes and additional payment is required, then will email you once your order has been processed.


International delivery charges?

  • Please email for a quote as price will depend on item size and delivery location.
  • You are responsible for paying local taxes and customs to the delivery location. Delivery fees will not be refunded should the consignment be returned / rejected.
  • Please note £4.99, £9.99 & Saturday £25 delivery charges are for UK delivery only.


Return Policy

All Returns must be approved prior to returning goods by emailing us at sales@caraudiodirect.co.uk.

Under 14 days

  • You can return your goods for a full refund or exchange as long as you inform us of your intention to return the goods within 14 days of receipt, starting from the day after you receive your goods (Exclusions apply, see below.)
  • All return costs are down to the buyer, and it is recommended that you return your items using a trackable method with appropriate insurance (if required).
  • Once we have approved your return, please ensure that you return the item within 14 days. We will then inspect and process your return within 14 days of receiving your goods.
  • Items need to be returned in "as new" condition in their original packaging. We don't mind if you open the product to check it, however any used or damaged products will be non-returnable so please take care when opening your items.
  • Please ensure products are packed securely and product packaging has not been defaced with courier labels and tape.
  • Please ensure a completed returns form is included with all items being returned.

RETURNS FORM

After 14 days

  • We will not offer a refund after 14 days of you receiving your delivery unless your product is deemed faulty. Please see further details below.

Exclusions from our returns policy

  • Special order items (these items will be clearly identifiable).
  • Custom cut items. (Speaker cable etc ordered by the meter.

 Please note that these exclusions do not apply to items that become faulty.

FAULTY ITEMS

Our aim is to get your items to you in fully working order, however in the event that your items do become faulty, please read below on what you should do next.

In a lot of cases with some products, faults can be fixed by performing some basic troubleshooting, so to prevent any further inconvenience to you we advise that you contact our Customer Service team via email who can guide you through some basic troubleshooting before sending items back. Or in some cases our manufacturers have a helpline.

Under 30 days

  • If your items become faulty within 30 days of delivery you are entitled to a full refund or exchange. Please contact us where we will provide necessary returns details.
  • Please send the items back with a completed returns form including a detailed description of the fault and your original order number.
  • Once we have fully tested the item and confirmed the fault, we will process the refund or exchange including cost of carriage back to us (within reason).
  • If during our testing we cannot find a fault, no refund or exchange will be given, and you will be charged for delivery of the item back to you.

After 30 days

  • After 30 days you will still be able to get your faulty items repaired or replaced within the manufacturers warranty and we will be happy to assist you with this. Please contact our customer service team to find out the best way to get your items repaired or replaced. Please be aware that after 30 days we will not cover you for any carriage costs. In some cases to save time and carriage, items can be sent directly to the manufacturers service centre.

 

Exclusions from our FAULTY ITEMS policy

  • Burnt or Blown Voice coils on all speakers are not classed as a manufacturing defect and these are not covered under warranty.
  • Incorrectly installed products causing malfunction.
