Based on its bigger 12” sibling, the EDP122SPL-E3, the new 8” EDP variant captures the same design features of the larger variant and shrinks them to fit the 8” frame. Powerful magnet and motor assembly, double stitched surrounds and tied off with a limited edition EDGE one piece dustcap. These subwoofers deliver deep, resonant bass that shakes your core. Topped off with with polycotton spiders and non-pressed paper cones, these subwoofers are designed for durability and performance.
The 8” variant features a large 2.5” 4 layer voice coil , to squeeze every bit of performance out of this 8” driver.
BEST SOUND - Double stitched High roll foam surround and paper composite cone make for lightweight but strong soft parts allowing for massive output from these subwoofers.
PREMIUM DESIGN - Custom tooled reinforced die cast angular torsion basket for increased strength.
BEST ENGINEERING - Bumped 8mm T-yoke allow high levels of excursion without colliding with the backplate.
BEST POWER HANDLING - The 2.5” voice coil and custom designed soft parts result in great power handling for the 8” driver of 700W RMS.
