The BlackVue ELITE 8 1CH is a discreet, front-facing dash camera that combines 2K Quad HD recording with a 5-megapixel Sony STARVIS 2 image sensor, advanced HDR and Ultra-Low LUX tuning. Designed to capture balanced footage in bright sunlight and low-light conditions, it provides a detailed record of the road ahead without a bulky screen on your windscreen.

This package includes a 64GB microSD card. Built-in GPS records location and speed information, while fast 5GHz Wi-Fi lets you connect your smartphone through the BlackVue app to review footage and adjust camera settings.

Clear 2K recording, day and night

The Sony IMX675 STARVIS 2 sensor records at 2560 × 1440 resolution at 30 frames per second. HDR balances bright highlights and dark shadows to help retain important details, while the seven-element f/2.0 lens and ultra-low-light enhancement support night-time recording. A 142° diagonal viewing angle provides wide coverage of the road ahead.

Intelligent event and parking recording

The onboard G-sensor and GPS support event detection for impacts, sudden acceleration, heavy braking and sharp cornering. Buffered Event recording includes footage from 10 seconds before a detected incident, providing context as well as the event itself.

Parking monitoring offers Motion Detection, Time Lapse and Power Saving modes. In Power Saving mode, the camera enters standby and wakes on impact to record. Low-voltage, timer and high-temperature protection help manage operation. Parking monitoring requires a suitable continuous power installation; runtime depends on the power source, settings and conditions. An optional BlackVue B-130A battery can extend parking operation without relying on the vehicle battery.

BlackVue Cloud connectivity

Compatible with BlackVue Cloud for features including Remote Live View, Remote Playback, Video Backup, GPS tracking and emergency notifications. Remote Cloud features require an internet connection. Always-on mobile connectivity can be added with the optional CM100LTE module and a suitable data SIM; these are not included. Cloud features and usage are subject to the selected service plan.
